EQUINE SERVICES

Curtis attended Los Angeles Pierce College where he focused on Animal Sciences, specifically The Horse Science Program. Curtis spent the next four years studying Horse Management and Training where he worked in the following areas:

 

  • Equine Management

  • Horse Show Management

  • Animal Disease & Infection Control

  • Equine Health & Training

  • Animal Husbandry

  • Equine First Aid

  • Basic Equitation

  • Advanced Equitation

  • Eventing: Cross Country, Dressage and Show jumping

 

In the Horse Therapy Program he worked with handicapped children and teens to promote the human-animal bond. This therapy provides motor skills, and the emotional and social well-being that comes with riding a horse, and contributes to the general well-being of individuals with special needs.

Privately, Curtis pursued the sports of Show Jumping and Dressage and has worked with many breeds of horses.
